AND THE GLASS OUTHOUSE!
It's a FUNdraiser!!!
The Artists LeFey will host a grand art show to benefit the Glass Outhouse Art Gallery in April 2022. The theme of this show is The Mask Affair. Registration for the show begins in November and we will accommodate as many artists and craft artisans as possible. Masks are provided by The Artists LeFey and will be distributed through the end of this year, giving artists three months to transform them into wonder!
Each mask is of heavy weight unpainted paper mache, 6.5" wide and 9" tall. Each has an attached elastic band, that is frankly not much good for anything. They can be decorated in any manner and media. Imagination is encouraged! Drop off will be the end of March 2022, exact dates TBD. Grey and Khrysso participated in several similar arts district fundraisers back in Ohio, and the masks are sturdy to work with. We also have half masks made in the same technique for those who prefer that style. Please see samples of finished masks below. Innovative masks are so popular with patrons!
As most artists in the Morongo Basin are aware, The Glass Outhouse is a well known and respected arts destination in Wonder Valley. The gallery is the passion of owner Laurel Seidl who generously provides recurring shows throughout the year from September to June, and offers artists the space to show and sell there at no cost. This is an opportunity to participate in an awesome event and to give back to this awesome woman!
Completed masks will be featured at The Glass Outhouse for the month of April, 2022, with the proceeds from all sales going to the gallery. Full masks and half masks will each have an opening flat price with an online auction running during the course of the show. In addition to the month's usual opening on the first Saturday, there will be an artist's party and awards.
Please complete the following form to be added to the list of interested artists. We will be processing requests as quickly as possible. We donate the mask, artists donate the time, talent, and supplies. The show will be curated by Khrysso Heart LeFey. If you have any questions, please email Masks22@theartistslefey.com. PLEASE NOTE: as this benefit is an additional event for the Glass Outhouse, Laurel is not responsible or party to the management of the event. In other words, DON'T PESTER THE POOR WOMAN 'CAUSE IT'S NOT HER CIRCUS! Direct all inquiries to Masks22@theartistslefey.com
